Sara Evans

Sarah Sarah Sara SaraSara Evans has only had the one goal in her life that she has always had: she wants to compose and perform country music. Evans said to John Meroney, of American Enterprise: "God placed me in this place to sing." This is my dream as well as what I'll do. Evans wanted to achieve success by re-introducing the classic country tunes that became famous thanks to Patsy Cline. Hank Snow. Tammy Wynette. George Jones. and Patty Loveless. These musicians Evans considered to be her greatest sources of inspiration. In the latter part of 1990, an era when most aspiring country musicians turned to contemporary songs with a pop-radio appeal, Evans established herself with her country music which reflected the past as demonstrated by her 1997 debut, True Lies. The album was not greeted with critical appreciation as well as a nomination from the Academy of Country Music in 1998 for being the top female singer, True Lies made little impression. Evans was persuaded to change her repertoire of songs for No Place That Far in 1999 by the producers. It gave her the public recognition she'd wanted for a long time. Sara Evans was born February 5th, 1971 at Columbia, Missouri. Her early years were spent in Columbia, Missouri in Columbia, Missouri with her six sisters and siblings.
